As to the right of inspection of financial documents.

California Corporations Code, Section 8333 provides as follows:

The accounting books and records and minutes of proceedings of the members and the board and committees of the board shall be open to inspection upon written demand on the corporation of any member at any reasonable time, for a purpose reasonably related to such person's interest as a member.

1.There are several aspects of the right of inspection that must be followed: 

2.The items that may be inspected are
   a. Accounting books and records.
   b. Minutes of meetings of members, board of directors and committees.Inspection must be demanded by a writing signed by the member desiring to inspect.

3.There is no right to copy documents or make notes.

4.The time for inspection must be at a reasonable time, i.e., during regular business hours.

5.The purpose of the inspection must be related to a legitimate membership interest.

6.Sharing written financial information with anyone other than directors is not allowed.
