The big day of change is now two days behind us, and CRMLS is here to help all our users through this transition period so they can adapt to thrive in the new world.
On August 13, CRMLS enacted new rules and policies to remain compliant with the regulations set by the commissions lawsuit settlement. Most notable of these changes is the removal of Buyer’s Agency Compensation fields. Along with their removal, it is now against CRMLS rules to note offers of compensation in the MLS and doing so will result in a $2,500 fine. Please familiarize yourself with this overview of all rules changes and this rundown of the new fines.
